A server in ItemShop is where a purchase lands in the game. Every product is assigned to one server, and the plugin installed on that server runs the commands of paid orders. Have several modes (e.g. Survival and SkyBlock)? Add each one as a separate server.

Add a server

1

Enter a name

The way players call it — e.g. “Survival”. This is the only required field.
2

Fill in the details (optional)

Server address, Minecraft version and description.
3

Set the features

Decide whether vouchers and discount codes work on this server and whether the player must be online at delivery time.
4

Connect the plugin

Generate the plugin configuration for this server and install it — see Plugin.

Server features

When a player says a discount code “doesn’t work” on just one mode, check these toggles first.

Active vs. online

These are two different things: A server that was connected yesterday but hasn’t sent a heartbeat for more than 5 minutes shows as offline, and its online player count drops to zero. Orders for that server are not lost — the plugin delivers them after reconnecting. The plugin reports the player count (e.g. 12/100) every 30 seconds by default, optionally with the list of online nicknames (this can be turned off in the plugin configuration).

Order, editing, deleting

  • Order of servers is changed by dragging — put the most important one first.
  • Editing — the same fields as when adding.
  • Deleting is irreversible. Move the products to another server first, or simply set the server to Disabled.
After adding a new server or renaming one, generate and upload the plugin’s config.yml again.
