# Plans and limits

> The Free and Pro plans and site limits: upload, build, sizes and the AI editor.

Every shop starts on the **Free** plan. The only paid plan is **Pro**, at **PLN 19.99 per 30 days**. The plan applies to a specific shop, not the whole account. ItemShop takes no commission on sales on any plan — the fees of your chosen payment provider apply separately.

You buy Pro in the panel for 1, 3, 6 or 12 months. If the platform gateway supports recurring payments, a subscription that's 25% cheaper is also available (canceling only turns off the next renewal). After Pro expires, the shop goes back to the Free limits: your data stays, but you can't add new resources above the limit.

Forbidden in a project: absolute paths and paths with `..`, `node_modules/`, `.git/`, `.npmrc`, `.yarnrc*`, `.pnpmfile.cjs` and install-lifecycle scripts in `package.json` (`preinstall`, `install`, `postinstall`, `prepare`…). The builder runs `npm ci --ignore-scripts` and has no network access beyond the npm registry — packages that need compilation at install time won't work.

In addition: 10 messages to the agent per minute per user and 2 parallel runs per shop.

External agents connected over [MCP](https://andcze.mintlify.site/en/developers/mcp.md) don't use ItemShop AI tokens — they use their own models and accounts.

The daily token budget is **fail-closed**: when ItemShop temporarily can't check usage, a new message fails with `503 AI_USAGE_UNAVAILABLE` (and a run in progress stops with the same code) instead of running without a limit. Try again in a moment.

## API limits
