# Seller panel — getting started

> Get to know the ItemShop.dev seller panel and set up your first item shop.

Welcome to ItemShop.dev! This is where you set up your own item shop for your Minecraft server. Players visit your page, buy items or ranks, and a special plugin automatically delivers their purchases in-game — it all happens on its own, without any effort from you.

## What is ItemShop.dev

Put simply, ItemShop.dev gives you three things:

<Columns cols={3}>
  <Card title="A ready-made shop">
    A professional shop page with a cart and payments — no coding knowledge required.
  </Card>

  <Card title="Automatic sales">
    A player pays, and the items reach them in-game automatically, any time of day or night.
  </Card>

  <Card title="Full control">
    You manage products, prices, promotions, and the look of your page from a single panel.
  </Card>
</Columns>

## How to create your first shop

The first time you log in, a short setup wizard will guide you. It takes just a few moments to get your shop ready.

<Steps>
  <Step title="Enter a shop name">
    Type the name of your shop — most often this is the name of your server. Your page address is created automatically from it, so choose carefully.

    <Tip>
      A short, simple name is easier for players to remember and looks better in your page address.
    </Tip>
  </Step>

  <Step title="Pick a design template">
    Decide how your page should look. You choose from ready-made templates — this is just a starting point, because you can fine-tune everything later in the Page editor.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Add your server">
    Enter the details of the Minecraft server where purchases should be delivered. This lets the plugin know where to deliver the items players buy.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Choose payment methods">
    Select how players will be able to pay. You can expand this later in the Payment providers section.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Add your first product">
    Create your first item for sale — for example, a rank or a bundle of items. You'll add more later in the Products section.
  </Step>
</Steps>

When you finish the wizard, you'll see "Done!" and some confetti — a sign that your shop is set up and running! 🎉 Just click **Go to panel** to start managing it.

<Note>
  You don't have to perfect everything right away. Every one of these things — the name, the look, servers, payments, and products — can be calmly changed and expanded later.
</Note>

### You can skip any step

The wizard doesn't force you into anything. Under each step (except the first), you have **Back** and **Skip for now** buttons, and a progress bar at the top shows which of the four stages you're on. If you've already added something, the step is marked as done — you can then go straight to **Next** or **Add another** (for example, a second server or a second payment method).

<Note>
  You add each item **without leaving the wizard** — the form for a server, payment, or product opens right away in a configuration window. If you change your mind, just click **Back to wizard** and return to where you were.
</Note>

<Tip>
  If you later want to set up **another shop**, you'll launch this same wizard again — your existing shops stay untouched.
</Tip>

## How to find your way around the panel

On the left side there's a navigation bar split into sections. This helps you quickly get to exactly where you need.

<Columns cols={2}>
  <Card title="SHOP">
    * **Dashboard** — a quick overview of the most important information about your shop
    * **Products** — adding and editing items for sale
    * **Servers** — the Minecraft servers your purchases go to
    * **Plugin** — configuring the add-on that delivers items in-game
    * **Page editor** — changing the look and layout of your page
  </Card>

  <Card title="SALES">
    * **Orders** — a list and details of all player purchases
    * **Analytics** — sales statistics and traffic on your page
  </Card>

  <Card title="INTEGRATIONS">
    * **Payment providers** — the payment methods available in your shop
  </Card>

  <Card title="MARKETING">
    * **Discount codes** — discounts players enter at checkout
    * **Vouchers** — codes to redeem in your shop
  </Card>

  <Card title="SETTINGS">
    * **Settings** — basic shop details and options
    * **Team** — inviting collaborators to the panel
    * **Blacklist** — blocking selected players or addresses
    * **Errors** — a view of any payment problems that need fixing
    * **API keys** — connections with other tools
  </Card>
</Columns>

<Note>
  Next to some menu items — **Products**, **Servers**, and **Orders** — you'll see a small counter showing the number of items. It's a handy way to check at a glance how many products, servers, or orders you have, without opening that section.
</Note>

<Tip>
  Some sections may be hidden from certain team members — it depends on the permissions you give them. If you work on your own as the owner, you see everything.
</Tip>

### The top bar

The top bar stays with you on every page of the panel and gives you quick access to the most important things.

<Columns cols={2}>
  <Card title="Shop name" icon="store">
    On the left you see your shop's name and the word "Panel". It's a reminder of which shop you're currently working in — handy when you have several.
  </Card>

  <Card title="Search" icon="search">
    In the middle there's the **Search pages, shops, actions…** field. Type the name of a section or shop, and the panel takes you straight there. You can also open it with a keyboard shortcut.
  </Card>

  <Card title="Your profile" icon="user">
    At the end of the bar is your name and avatar. Clicking it opens a menu with **Profile** and **Log out** options. Right next to it you'll also find a light/dark mode toggle.
  </Card>
</Columns>

<Tip>
  Search is the fastest way to navigate. Instead of hunting for a section by eye, open it with **`Ctrl` + `K`** (on Apple computers **`⌘` + `K`**), start typing, and pick a result. It also works for jumping between your different shops.
</Tip>

### AI Assistant

In the bottom-right corner you'll find the **AI Assistant** button. This is your helper — you can ask it for advice, ask for help with settings, or for a quick explanation of how to do something. The Assistant understands instructions in English and can also **perform an action for you** or take you to the right section.

When you open the chat, before you write anything, you'll see **quick shortcuts** to the most common places, including: Products, New product, Servers, Discount codes, Orders, Page editor, Payments, and Statistics. Just click one to go there.

<Tip>
  If you can't find something or don't know how to start, just ask the AI Assistant — it answers in English and suggests the next step. You can clear or close the chat at any time.
</Tip>

## Dashboard — an overview of your shop

The **Dashboard** is the first page you see when you enter the panel. It brings together the most important numbers about your shop in one place, so you immediately know how sales are going — without going through orders one by one.

### Choosing a period

In the top-right corner of the Dashboard there's a period selector. All the numbers and charts on this page apply to exactly that time range. Your choices are:

<Columns cols={3}>
  <Card title="Last 7 days">
    A fresh picture of what's happening in your shop this week.
  </Card>

  <Card title="Last 30 days">
    A look at the whole month — good for assessing your overall sales pace.
  </Card>

  <Card title="Last 90 days">
    A broader, quarter-long view that reveals trends and seasonality.
  </Card>
</Columns>

<Note>
  Changing the period instantly recalculates all the tiles and charts below. If the numbers seem low, check whether you have a short period selected.
</Note>

### Number tiles

At the top of the Dashboard there's a set of tiles with the most important figures. Each one shows a single number, and some have a small trend chart in the background.

<Columns cols={2}>
  <Card title="Revenue" icon="banknote">
    The total amount from sales in the selected period. This is the money your shop has earned.
  </Card>

  <Card title="Orders" icon="shopping-cart">
    The number of paid orders in the selected period.
  </Card>

  <Card title="Customers" icon="users">
    The number of different players who bought something from you.
  </Card>

  <Card title="Avg. value" icon="receipt">
    The average value of a single order — it helps you gauge how much a player typically spends.
  </Card>

  <Card title="Visits" icon="eye">
    How many times someone visited your shop page in the selected period.
  </Card>

  <Card title="Unique visitors" icon="user-check">
    The number of different people who visited the shop (the same person is counted once).
  </Card>

  <Card title="Conversion" icon="target">
    The percentage of visitors who actually made a purchase. The higher it is, the better your shop is working.
  </Card>

  <Card title="Paying customers" icon="trophy">
    The number of players who spent money with you in the selected period.
  </Card>
</Columns>

<Tip>
  The most important pair of numbers is **Visits** and **Conversion**. If you have lots of visits but a low conversion, it's a sign that players are coming in but something is putting them off buying — that's when it's worth looking at your page's design, prices, or payment methods.
</Tip>

### Revenue over time chart

Below the tiles is the **Revenue over time** chart. It shows how your revenue was spread across the selected period — day by day or week by week. Thanks to it, you'll immediately spot increases (for example, after announcing a promotion) or dips worth a closer look.

### Top products and Top spenders

At the bottom of the Dashboard are two lists that help you understand what — and who — drives your sales:

<Columns cols={2}>
  <Card title="Top products" icon="package">
    A list of the products that brought in the most revenue in the selected period. It hints at what's worth featuring in your shop and what to focus on.
  </Card>

  <Card title="Top spenders" icon="trophy">
    A list of the players who spent the most with you. These are your most loyal customers — they're worth taking care of.
  </Card>
</Columns>

<Note>
  If there were no sales yet in a given period, you'll see a **"No data"** message in these spots. That's normal at the start — the numbers will appear once players start buying.
</Note>

<Warning>
  A freshly created shop has empty statistics — all the tiles show zeros and the chart is flat. This is not an error. Data will start appearing after the first visits and purchases. If you still see zeros despite having orders, make sure the selected period covers the days when there were sales.
</Warning>

## What's next

You've got a shop — now it's worth polishing it up. Here's a good direction to start:

<Columns cols={2}>
  <Card title="Add more products" icon="box">
    Go to the **Products** section and expand your offering with more ranks and items.
  </Card>

  <Card title="Customize the look" icon="paintbrush">
    Open the **Page editor** to change colors, text, and layout to fit your server.
  </Card>

  <Card title="Check payments" icon="credit-card">
    In the **Payment providers** section, make sure players have convenient ways to pay.
  </Card>

  <Card title="Prepare promotions" icon="tag">
    Create **Discount codes** to encourage players to make their first purchases.
  </Card>
</Columns>

<Warning>
  Before you announce your shop to players, make a test purchase and check that the item correctly reaches the game. It's the best way to be sure everything works.
</Warning>

## Frequently asked questions

<AccordionGroup>
  <Accordion title="I don't see any statistics on the Dashboard — is something broken?">
    No. A fresh shop simply doesn't have data yet. The tiles show zeros and the chart is flat until players start visiting your page and buying. Also check whether you have a short period set (such as 7 days) — extend it if the first purchases happened a while ago.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="How do I quickly jump to another section?">
    Use the search in the top bar (shortcut **`Ctrl` + `K`** or **`⌘` + `K`**), type the name of the section, and pick a result. You can also simply ask the AI Assistant in the bottom-right corner.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="I have several shops — how do I switch between them?">
    The name of the current shop is shown in the top bar. To switch to another, type its name in the search — this lets you hop between your shops in an instant.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="Where do I find the money from sales?">
    The money players pay for purchases goes **directly to your account with the payment provider** (e.g. imoje, PayPal, Stripe) — ItemShop never holds or pays it out. In the panel you see sales **statistics** (e.g. **Revenue** on the Dashboard and in Analytics), but you settle the actual payouts on the provider's side. Premium plans are a separate matter — you buy a chosen plan and period as a **one-time payment** handled by ItemShop, and that has nothing to do with your sales revenue.
  </Accordion>
</AccordionGroup>

## Best practices

<Tip>
  * **Start with the Dashboard** — it's the fastest way to check your shop's health without digging through hundreds of orders.
  * **Watch conversion, not just revenue** — if there are lots of visits but few sales, improve your page's design, prices, or payment methods.
  * **Use the search** — `Ctrl` + `K` (or `⌘` + `K`) is the fastest way to navigate the panel and jump between shops.
  * **Take care of your Top spenders** — these are your most loyal customers; it's worth considering a promotion or bonus for them.
  * **Don't panic over zeros** — a new shop has empty statistics; the numbers will appear with the first visits and purchases.
  * **Ask the AI Assistant** — when you don't know something or can't find it, it'll suggest the next step in English.
